PocketMedi, A free Smartphone app for Patients, presented at the monthly SVOSG meeting on November 8th in San Jose California. The Presentation includes application overview and managing the information and support related to a person going through a major medical crisis.

The Silicon Valley Ostomy Support Group, an affiliate of UOAA, is committed to improving the quality of life for individuals with ostomy or continent diversion who live in the San Jose metropolitan area.

PocketMedi is a free mobile app to help patients organize, play an active role, feel more in control of their treatment, reduce stress through social sharing and participate efficiently in family centered care leading to better health outcomes. By putting everything at their fingertips, PocketMedi creates a Portable Care Network for patients.
